Hi everyone!!
Hope your all keeping safe and well.

So just recently I’ve been playing around with my new gel plate and thought I’d do a post showing how I used it to make this card. I must warn you I’m still learning so bound to make  a few mistakes along the line!
I inked the gel plate with fossilised amber using a brayer.  Spread the ink evenly over the gel plate.

Using a fan shaped brush splatter the brushos over the gel plate. I tried to splatter larger moss green along the bottom of the plate. Then lightly splatter the moss green, rose red and yellow ochre over the rest of the plate.

Now place your pre cut card on the plate and apply pressure to pick up the ink.

I cut some masks out of an old plastic wallet that was falling apart to create my horizon and moon masks. You can use ripped card but as I seem to make so many I wanted to make something that would last.
So I started with bundled sage  distress inks -  place the mask where you’d like your horizon line and drag the ink away from the mask with your applicator.  Then go over it with fired brick.

Place your moon mask in the centre and again drag the ink away from the mask using fired brick.
Apply a small amount of ink around the edge of the card.

You can now start building your scene. For this I used fairytale fairy, mooch, willow and dandelions. Each of these were stamped with versafine clair black ink.

I wanted a few extra floating dandelions so I inked the  one circled at the bottom and randomly stamped a few extra.

Using fired brick destress ink I then stamped a few extra willow branches and dandelions.

Add a few white highlights with the white Sakura pen to the cat and fairy.
Then add some glitter. For this I used quickie glue pen to apply cosmic shimmer glitter sparkle  shaker (silver rainbow)
I applied the glitter to the wings and the tips of the dandelions.

This glitter is so lovely it’s so super fine. I’m sorry it’s really hard to see in the photo.

I then drew a black border around the edge with a sharpie pen and mounted it onto a 6x6 card.
