Crafty Individuals - burglar Cats

 Evening everyone!!!

These burglar cats were calling out to me this evening, so made this really quick card.

Stamp the image with black ink, apply clear embossing powder and emboss with a heat gun.

Cut around the image with some scissors.

Colour the image with pro markers. Use the blender pen to blend the green into the yellow.
I decided there was too much white border around the edge so trimmed it down some more.

I had so much fun creating this background as it's the first time doing an alcohol ink lift. I will do a video on how to do this very soon so do keep an eye on my YouTube Channel.
Add some isopropyl to yupo paper, then apply the alcohol inks. Using a handheld puffer move the ink around the paper. Once its dried add some ink to an applicator and dab it in the areas you desire.
Again wait for it to completely dry.
Dribble some alcohol ink lift along one of the edges and roll it across the paper with brayer. Try not to keep going back and forth with the brayer as it'll start pulling the ink off.
Place your card on the yupo and rub the back evenly to pick the ink up.
As you can see mine has a couple of smears but I'm not too worried as most of it'll be covered up anyway.

Distress the edges with Distress oxide to darken slightly.

Place the cats topper roughly where you want it and draw around with a pencil.

Use a dry brush to apply black gesso to create a feathery border. Think this has to be my new obsession as it sort of looks like torn handmade paper.

Mount the background onto some black card and onto a pre folded card blank.
Then stick the cats in place

Crafty Individuals Simple Dragon card

Evening Everyone!!!

Made this really quick and easy card for one of my sons friends Birthdays using the Crafty Individuals Dragon stamp.

Stamp the dragon in black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder and a heat gun.
Colour with spectrum noir tri-blend markers.

Dab some blue distress ink on a tile. Using a watery paint brush, pick the ink up and water colour the sky area.

Cut a piece of card to fit a 5x7 card blank.
Drag scattered straw distress ink down from top to bottom - without placing too much pressure.
Drag wild honey ink pad in from each edge.
Then repeat with peacock feathers.

Mount both pieces of card onto black card, then onto a pre-folded car blank.

Birthdays Calendar Using crafty individuals stamps

Hi Everyone!!!

Thought I'd do a separate blog post on the calendar I made for the last show using several of the Crafty Individuals stamps all designed by Ellie Mulligan. You can view all her stamps here.

The Idea of this is that it could be used every year as you can just change the little calendar part.
I've taken close up photos of each design as they could also be used on a card rather than mounted on a calendar.

Thanks for visiting!!!!

Made this pen pot using an old gravy granules pot. I'll definitely be doing some more of these so will do a blog post on this at some point.

My final sample is this calendar for birthdays which I'll do a separate post on as it also contains some older stamps all designed by Ellie.
