Crafty Individuals Lion Card

 Hi Everyone!

Made this card for my partners Dads birthday. 

The lions head has been decoupaged to give a 3D effect.

Stamp the image with black ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder. 

You'll need to do this three times.

Cut just the head out and then the head and mane. Leave the third image whole.

Using a stitched oval die cut the main image.

Cut a larger oval in black to mount the image on.

Colour the image. I used spectrum noir tri blend pens.

Distress the edges with oxide inks and a blending brush.

Cut a piece of card to fit on an A5 card. Ink the edges with oxide inks.

Stamp the lower section of the lions mane around the edge of the card.

Stamp and emboss the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Mount the background onto black card and on a pre-folded card blank. Stick the ovals in place then layer the lions head by using silicone glue to attach the pieces.
