Hi All!!
Hope your all having a great weekend.
I've been a little bit more organised this year with my Christmas cards. Last year I didn't start making them until very late in November - of course I learnt my lesson!!!
I have a couple of cards to share with you, the first one using the this gorgeous Pablo the penguin from Crafty individuals CI-557.
Cut a piece of card to fit on a 5x7 pre-folded card blank. Stamp the penguin with black ink and emboss using clear embossing powder and a heat gun.
I then coloured it in with spectrum noir tri blend pens. As you can see it doesn't really need a great deal of colouring.
Using a stencil and a soft applicator brush apply tumbled glass distress ink through the snowflake stencil. Keep moving the stencil around randomly inking through it. I'm afraid I have no idea where this stencil is from as I've had it in my stash for sometime now.
Using the Lavinia scene masks create a snowy horizon line by lightly applying stormy sky distress ink.
I often like to finish my cards off with a doodled border.
I made a couple of cards using pablo and doodled a couple of different borders. The first one on the left is one that I do allot but thought I'd try a starry one for a change.
Mount onto a pre-folded card blank.
