Crafty Individuals Bluebells card

 Evening everyone!

Hope your all enjoying the weekend.

This afternoon I had a quick play with this gorgeous bluebell stamp that's just been released by Crafty Individuals. Its such a beautiful stamp and such a great size.

Start by Stamping and embossing the image on white card.

Using the creative expressions stitched rectangle dies select you desired size to fit on your card blank. Cut your image and a frame at the same time by running 2 sizes through your die cutting machine. You might want to use a small amount of tape to secure them in place.

Colour the image. For this I used pro markers and spectrum noir pens.

Then watercolour the background with speckled egg distress ink. This will give a really subtle background.

Lightly colour the edges with shaded lilac using a sponge applicator.

I don't think you can see in the photo but I flicked a few specks of ink in the background - to do this dab the ink pad on your messy mat or an old tile. Using a very wet fan paint brush pick some ink up from the tile and flick the ink over the card.

Using a fine white posca pen add a few highlights to the bluebells.

Lightly colour the edge of the frame.

Cut a piece of of black card just slightly bigger that your die cut frame and mount onto a pre-folded card blank.
Stick your stamped image onto the centre of the black card.
Then using some pinflair silicone glue stick the frame in place but leave it so its slightly raised.

Thank you
